Corona Covid 19 Virus Information
July 2020 Update: Does Ingoring COVID-19 Work? Things are Getting Worse, Not Better!

Sweden tried to "Ignore COVID-19 and let herd immunity develop to solve the problem." There were no lockdowns. Citizens were encouraged to ignore the disease and go about their lives as usual.

Result: More people died per capita than any other country. And the Swedish Economy did not gain anything by refusing to lock down.

Per million people, Sweden has suffered 40 percent more deaths than the United States, 12 times more than Norway, seven times more than Finland and six times more than Denmark."

Meanwhile, in the USA, cases spike in southern and western states. Hospitals are full in several states with more patients arriving per day than at any other time during the pandemic.

Situations in Arizona, Texas, and Florida in particular are becoming as desparate and dire as the first round of disease was in New York City.

Hospitals cannot keep up with the need for respirators. PPE is in short supply for medical professionals, some of whom have to use the same masks all day. They treat a COVID-19 patient in one room, them weare the same mask to another room to treat a different kind of patient. Some even have to resort to wearing garbage bags while treating patients because there are not enough protective medical gowns to go around!
